End of school year card

One more school year. Wow time sure flies!
This 06/03/16 was the last day of my daughter as a 4th grader :(
The school year went super fast and now for her to start enjoying her summer.
To end the great school year she had, I made her a fun shaker card, me and my husband wrote her a little message and tuck in there a few dollars.

Birthday card with Balloon Celebration

Hello crafty friends,
Wanted to stop by and share this cute card using new product from the 2016 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up.
This card is so easy to make, I made 22 cards for a swap and was so happy on how fast and fun it was to make, specially since I've been working long hours on my job, but I was able to pull it off and send this cards for the swap. 1st time I participate, and I'm sure is the first of many...so cool to receive back all those cute cards from the talented demonstrators in the group.
I'm a newbie on this, I joined last year during Sale-A-bration also and I have liked every bit of it...(wow 1 year)!!!

So below is a video showing the quick and easy steps for this Birthday Card.
Enjoy....and 'til next time crafty friends..

Quick and easy Christmas candle decoration

Hello friends,
Continuing on all the Christmas gifts, ideas, must and to do lists here, as many of you are.
Decorated some candles I bought on sale on Bath and Body works, love this candles, specially when on sale and when you can use coupons :)
The candle it self is cute, but needed a little something that says "Christmas gift". So here's what I made.
Used the Flurry of wishes bundle to stamp the cute snow flakes on vellum paper with embossing stamp pad, used 3 different embossing powders using the heat tool and punched them out with the matching punch sets. Once I had all the images I needed, made a little banner of 3 different sizes snowflakes and adhered them with mini glue dots. This little banner is attached to the top of the candle or to a side, attached a ribbon or string to decorate, stamped Merry Christmas in vellum paper pad and punched the frase with the washi label punch and done!
Super fun and easy, below are the items used.
'Til next time craft friends!

Hello December 2015

Hello Crafters!
Have you started your December Daily?
Well I finally did…yeiii me :)
Why did I wait so long? It's so fun!!!
Started with the front page and the 1st page, which for me is a way of knowing what direction my DD is going to take. The colors, the embellishments, style, etc.
This year I'm using Hello December 2015 from Stampin' Up and Christmas Wishes from Pink Fresh Studio, love the color combination and both lines work great together. The combination of white, teals, reds, golds, grays…ohhh my.
The great thing is that I get to combine this with my ink pads and card stock from Stampin' Up..yeap this are the colors:
Basic Gray
Lost Lagoon
Mint Macaron
Real Real
Very Vanilla
Whisper White
Gold

Hope you give it a try, enjoy :)

Christmas shopping and men :)

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas…
Today I did a little (Mjjmm) shopping and I was amazed to see men don't understand us woman on our Christmas shopping! LOL This is what I heard and saw in a couple of stores:

  • @ Michaels'  - A lady tells her husband, "Ohhh look at that cute wreath! "And he answers…"Well I bet is expensive, what do you need it for?"
  • @ Walmart -  A young lady tells her boyfriend (or husband) "Stop making me those faces and pushing me with the shopping cart, I still have a lot of stuff I need to see!"
  • @ Hobby Lobby - A woman tells her husband, "What color combination should I use this year for our Christmas tree? This one or this one?", The husband replies, "They look the same to me"
Why isn't our Christmas, crafting spirit by men understood?
So this year, as there are Bridezillas before weddings, I'm saying that men turn into Shopzillas or Grinchzillas starting on November … LOL what do you think? #Shopzillas or #Grinchzillas?

Ahhh such fun seasons… By the way, I'm listening to #MichaelBublĂ©Christmas  making Christmas crafts :)
